Debbie Varnes created a fantastic holiday card combining the traditional verse with an oriental image (bamboo).  I love it mounted on top of the embossed red background.

Christmas card from Sandra Grimes

Sandra is one of the remarkable ladies who makes oodles of cards throughout the year for so many.  I feel fortunate to receive her holiday greetings.  The card is scored vertically which gives it a very classy look but the lines didn't appear when I scanned it.

RAK - 2011 Calendar from Violet

For the last several years, Violet has sent me a calendar for the upcoming year.  I was "blown away" by the one she made for me this year.  It is the most beautiful card with lucsious details.  It arrived as a folded screen opening in the middle to reveal the calendar.  JUST GORGEOUS and one I won't toss out come year end.  It is one to add to my scrapbook. 



RAK - Nancy Cotton

At the left is a photo of the beautiful card made by Nancy Cotton.  She used a favorite image of mine and made the poppy stand out by adding glossy accents to the flower.  Her coloring is perfect for a stunning card.  Thanks, Nancy.

RAK - Mary Waspe

The card I received from Mary is the one she recently had published in RubberStamp Madness and I feel so honored that she would send it on to me.  The details and 3-D are superb.  The man's outfit is textured and applied over the top of the originally stamped image on an alcohol ink background.  And the tea pot was given added height for a stunning effect.  WOW... I not ony feel lucky but am in awe that Mary would send this to me.

Birthday RAK - Kathy Nycz

Kathy sent me this beautiful card as a birthday RAK.  As most of you know I love flowers and she included a floral sheet of vellum for her background.  She also made the envelope that encased the  card for a perfectly matched creation.  I love it!

OSA Flag Book Mingle

Gene Limtiaco and I were partners for this mingle and I have uploaded photos of her flag book that she made for me.  I had indicated that I like pastel shades as well as flowers and she picked up on that and designed my book accordingly.  Itsn't it beautiful!

ATC from Yvonne Jenks

When an envelope arrives with the trademark stamp, I know without looking at the return address that it is from Yvonne.  For as long as I can remember, Yvonne has included this border on all of her mail and this time she even decorated the envelope with the image used on her beautiful ATC.

RAK from Nancy Freckelton

A beautiful RAK from Nancy who lives in Nova Scotia.  Pay particular notice to the gold cutout used for the base for the geisha image she selected.  Very clever!

ATC - Bernie Goolsby

Isn't this beautiful!  A pastel floral ATC with embossing for a wonderful texture and a stunning card.  Bernie called this "Chinese Flowers."

Andree's ATC

The Chinese/Japanese brushtroke designs are some of my favorite -- so elegant for a simple design that is pleasing to the eye.  I know you will enjoy this ATC made by Andree Castoli.

RAK from Margo

A great start for a new week when I opened our mail and found an envelope from Margo. Blue is my favorite color and look what she created. It is inspiring to see older techniques combined with new tools (punches and diecuts) to create a new slant to our art. Margo did a wonderful job with this card including the embossing around the white portion and the glitter pen outline around the branch on the ginger jar. The bright yellow bird is a perfect contrast for her card. I love everything about it.

ATCs - Sandra Grimes

Not one but FOUR arrived today from Sanda Grimes. She posted on OSA that she would be sending members an ATC and I think I received more than my share. They are all so well done.

RAK - Janis Graham

Janis knows I love red money envelopes and she tucked her Year of the Tiger calendar ATC inside -- two great RAKS. The envelope is beautiful as is the ATC. Yes, tigers can be beautiful.

Monica's ATCs

Aren't these the cutest ATCs ever! The little girls travelled down from Canada to bring lots of joy. They are darling.

Tall Bamboo

"The taller the bamboo, the lower it bows." What a great verse for Linda's ATC, along with the other images and background she made.

ATC - Brenda Chambers

The image Brenda stamped in black on a bright polished stone background is fabulous. The color combination is beautiful and the stick pin and ribbon sets it off perfectly.

ATC - Lisa Hom

Check out this great ATC from Lisa. In particular note the butterfly -- I love calligraphy inside of a shape. She calls this one "welcome spring" and I'm hoping the butterfly will come our direction as it is stormy today.

"Passage of India"

India is considered part of Asia; however, we seldom see art projects with India as the focal point. That is what makes this ATC so special. Thanks to Linda Ellis who created the ATC and mentioned that the charm was made in India.

Year of the Tiger ATC and RAK

Linda Ellis mailed me this terrific ATC she made representing Year of the Tiger. She also included a red money envelope -- my first with a tiger theme, along with a beautiful Year of the Tiger greeting card.

Black and White Swap with Bonnie Waliezer

It is always a joy to receive a card from Bonnie. Over the years we have received each others art and both have grown and expanded our techniques, like Bonnie's card with the suttle bamboo and dragonflies.

Sandy Nolan's ATC

Sandy's elements are perfect for the stamped image - a butterfly charm and bamboo for the corner. Great black and gold card with a tint of magenta over the top.

BLACK & WHITE DAK

Both Linda Isham and I submitted black and white cards for Annette's ongoing black and white swap. I received a card from Linda in today's mail which included one of the new images that I recently acquired. It looks terrific in black on a white card.

ATC - Fareeda Mater

Fareeda called her ATC "Butterfly Surround Me" and if you look closely at the ATC you will see the butterflies in the background. Her main image is stunning on top of her background.

Year of the Tiger BOOKMARK

CAROL WALKER sent me a terrific bookmark in honor of the new year -- TIGER. This tiger will get a workout because I like to read.
