It is always a delight to receive a card from a friend and a traditional one too.  Did you notice the orange as the head of the snowman?  Great origami tree for a beautiful card.

Sandra's used embossed black and red panels for her card.  IT IS GORGEOUS and so appreciated.

OSA Koi Swap - Emilie Boyd

Emilie also used an embossing folder for the card itself of koi swimming in a pool of water for a very unique effect.  The inside section of the card she highlighted with chalk to bring out the texture from the embossing.  Thanks, Emilie.

OSA Penny Black Brushstroke Swap

These two cards are absolutely stunning.  The first was created by Sandra Grimes and the second one by Bonnie Waliezer.

Chinese brushstroke painting is one of the most elegant forms of art and these two cards are excellent examples.  They are both gorgeous.

The cranes are absolutely stunning and were created using embossing paste over a brass stencil.  The background paper that appears black is actually metallic silver.  This is really a gorgeous card thanks to Nancy.

Annette mounted the beautiful geisha image on a textured white card which doesn't show up well in the scan.  Black and white can't be beat for elegant and crisp effects.

The geisha is sweet and innocent looking don't you think?
